LAS VEGAS CONVENTION CENTER (LVCC) LOOP
The original LVCC Loop — a 3-station transportation system consisting of 1.7 miles of tunnel — was built in approximately 1 year. The system cost approximately $47 million (firm-fixed price). Tunneling occurred during conventions with over 100,000 attendees and posed zero disruptions or road closures.
LVCC Loop connects the LVCC West Hall with the existing campus (North/Central/South Halls), and reduces a 45-minute cross-campus walk to approximately 2 minutes.
LVCC Loop opened in April 2021 for the Mecum Motorcycle Auction and has operated at all subsequent conventions. It has demonstrated peak capacity of over 4,500 passengers per hour, and over 32,000 passengers per day.
In 2024, LVCC Loop was then expanded to 2.1 miles and 5 stations, adding LVCC Riviera Station and LVCC Central Plaza Station.
